VJ is a big, two year old red brindle male. Hurry, he won’t last long. VJ is very cute as he carries a sock or stuffie with him when on walks (although he will eventually drop it along the way). He crates well. VJ has a good appetite, and enjoys chewing bones, although so far has not shown signs of being food motivated. VJ loves playing outside with his foster brother and sister, and will bark from just sheer happiness (the only time we have heard him bark). He is a very curious guy, and he follows his foster family around just to see what they are doing – except when they go down those scary stairs! He walks well on wood floors, loves his tummy rubbed, and jumps into the car and falls asleep until we reach our destination. He knows basic commands like a human pointing means “go lay down”, “leave it”, “out “(leave the room), and “time to eat” (runs to his crate). He has just started playing with stuffies but will stop and look embarrassed if he realizes he is being watched. Noises seem to scare VJ a little, but he may be getting used to our teen aged boys already and the noises might not bother him soon. We’re not sure if VJ’s slight overbite gave him an aerodynamic advantage at the track, but it definitely gives him an upper hand in the “adopt me, I’m cute” department. VJ is cat safe. VJ was adopted on 08/04/2008 by Julie Swartz.
