Senior and Special Needs GreyhoundsThis section includes Greyhounds over the age of seven as well as some with medical needs that will require extra care, possibly for the remainder of their lives. Since many people are looking for a younger pet that will remain with the family for a longer period we offer seniors and special needs dogs at a reduced adoption donation of $100.00. |

Cell DogsThis section is home to Greyhounds who have graduated from a prison training program conducted by Second Chance for Life (SCAL). While the SCAL Greyhounds are in the program they learn basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, come etc. and should be prepared to pass a Canine Good Citizen exam with little effort just reinforcement on your part. The SCAL dogs adoption donation is $300.00. |

Waiting For ParoleThe Greyhounds here are currently in a training program conducted by Second Chance for Life (SCAL) at the Coldwater Prison Facility. While the SCAL Greyhounds are in the program they learn basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, come etc. and should be prepared to pass a Canine Good Citizen exam with little effort. Their expected release date is September 4th 2008 where they will receive further evaluation as to their tolerance of cats and small dogs upon arrival with their new foster family.
