Inducted into the hall of fame in 1964, Lucky Pilot beat Flashy Sir three consecutive times in 8-dog races, but lost to him 3 times in match races. 12-2-0 in 14 starts at Orlando and 19-3-1 at Wonderland-Taunton in 1946. National Win Champ 1946. 61-13-7 in 92 career starts. Lucky Pilot set new track records for the 1/16ths futurity and the 5/16th mile courses at Wonderland, and equaled the 5/16ths mark at Taunton while beating Flashy Sir. Died 1952.
