Bow Clapton

 Rainbow Bridge /

Bow is an amazing dog! At the age of 6, Bow still can and does act like an active pup. He loves to play and walk. Great on leash, you could walk him for miles and, although your legs may be screaming stop, Bow could keep on going. Bow is definitely house broken, and will never go in the house. He responds well to a regular schedule. He will not go on your furniture, and responds well to verbal commands. Bow is a great family dog, as he tolerates children well. He will be shy at first, but is quick to adapt to new surroundings.

Bow is a little possessive of his toys. Younger children should be encouraged to not try and take away a toy he is playing with. Bow gets on well with other dogs, and enjoys being a part of a pack. Bow, however, DOES NOT DO WELL WITH CATS. You and your family must be firmly committed to a “no cat” policy.

Other than cats, Bow is a well-mannered and polite dog. He will let you know when it’s time to eat by “talking” to you. This is a good way to keep on a regular schedule, as your new friend will be a kind reminder of what needs to happen next. Bow is also crate trained and, other than at night, he responds well to crating when you leave your home. At night, however, Bow likes to be near his family members.

I get on fine with other dogs, and small fuzzies are no problem. I’m as handsome as my famous dad Flying Jupiter. Bo was adopted on 04/30/2005 by Carl and Carol Pistolesi.
