Stella is a delicate little princess that is healing from a torn ACL repair surgery. Sadly, after surgery she developed an abcess in her leg from her vein leaking during surgery. The anesthesia is a strong irritant to normal flesh and has caused a large wound. Margaret is giving her tender care while she waits for healing to begin. Weekly trips to the vet for medicated bandage changes are making forward leaps in healing.
Stella has had her spay surgery and will be ready to go to a family as soon as she’s healed. Please know this is a princess dog who expects to take over your heart completely. She’s tiny at just 53# and loves to talk when she cuddles. Stella was adopted on 12/12/2007 by Stan and Patty Phillips.
