O’Hara pictured with Zoie (left to right above) was one of GEM’s finest meet & greet hounds, these girls have been working the “circut” with their dad Wayne for many years promoting greyhound adoption all over the state of MI. O’Hara has an impressive pedigree. She is a direct decendant (first generation) to hall of famer P’s Rambling, as well as having a 4 line cross of Tell You Why, one of the greatest racers to ever set foot on the oval. This girl was not just a GEM, she’s a child of racing royalty!
Sadly, on June 11, 2002, O’Hara went to the bridge. O’Hara is survived by Zoie, and the Bradshaw’s newest addition Lola (My Girl Lollipop). O’Hara will be greatly missed, not just by her family, but by GEM as an organization, this beautiful old gal was an ambassador who helped countless greyhounds find their way to forever homes. Rest easy O’Hara, I bet there are meet & greets in heaven, and if there are, you will be the queen there as you were here.
