Merritt is a mellow, nice boy, who gets along well with other dogs (large and small) and is learning to ignore indoor cats. This dark red brindle is coming along nicely in his foster home, playing with two smaller dogs and following his foster mom around. Merritt likes sleeping in his crate and going for walks. He has medium energy but a whip of a wagging tail, so it would be best if his adoptive home has children over the age of seven. Merritt is a delightful dog who settles down pretty quickly in the house. He enjoys a slo-mo run in the back yard and is really good on leash. He is very sweet, lovable, and enjoys being around people and getting his belly rubbed and neck scratched. He also has some adorable ears – both flip to the left. Merritt would make a great addition to any family.
