Hefty was adopted by our very own Robin Willoughby. She traveled a very long way to meet this boy, along with myself and Kathy Darfler. We left Michigan for Massachusetts at 7pm on a Friday night and drove all night, arriving at 11am in the morning Saturday. This was one special boy and as soon as Robin met him, the click was audible – Just ask Kathy she heard it ! Robin would not leave without him, and agreed to foster him upon our arrival in MI on Sunday, she promptly failed fostering 101 a week later and Hefty is now officially Hefty Willoughby. Hefty is now sharing his home with Roby another retired racer. Thanks for fostering him Robin – HA!
