Lucy is an April 1st graduate of the SCAL Prison Program. She did well in the program despite the fact that she was a little on the shy side for her handlers. Since her graduation, she returned to our foster home and Lucy took a couple days to finally feel at ease. Today is 2 weeks since her release and Lucy has become an absolute joy :). Lucy does a beautiful sit & down for her treats. She ignores the cat and has fit in well with her foster hounds. She loves to take laps around the yard but maybe she just has Spring Fever like the rest of us. She’s begun to investigate the toy box and now has her favorites. Lucy’s been the perfect house quest and will probably be a best fit for a family with another dog as she’s not a leader, but a follower. Besides all those facts, Lucy is a gorgeous gal! She is small dog and cat safe.
Helen and Phil Davanzo just couldn’t bear the thought of Lucy living with anyone else, so they made it official on July 23, 2010. Way to go Lucy!!
