Andy is a handsome, sweet-tempered, and affectionate boy. He simply adores people and will sometimes whine a bit to let you know he wants your attention. Andy may bark a couple of times whenever food is involved, just to let you know he is ready and waiting. Andy has a wonderful personality and gets along with everyone, even with a beagle as a foster. Since he’s such a social guy, Andy may do better in a home with at least one other dog, so he has company when his people have to leave him. He crates well when everyone is at work. In fact, he willingly lies in his crate, off and on during the day when the door is open. Andy is very curious and not afraid of new things or of noises, such as the vacuum cleaner. He’s smart, and a real people pleaser, which make him a very quick learner. Andy already knows how to sit and to walk well on a leash, and he quickly mastered the stairs. He loves to play with toys, especially ones that honk, squeak, or grunt.
