Boots traveled over the bridge in March of 2002. He had escaped his fenced yard by breaking a gate in persuit of a rabbit and was killed by a car while crossing a busy road. Boots was well loved, and will be well missed by his surviving family, Joe, Mary Beth, Lil, Amber and the Cats.
