N's Flowerchild

 Rainbow Bridge /

It is with great sadness that I let the group know that one of our GEM’s was helped to the rainbow bridge.

I was fortunate enough to foster this vivacious girl for almost a month. She was NOT catsafe in ANY way shape or form… BUT she was silly, sweet, kind, and one pretty girl, that only wanted lots of love and affection. She found that love she so needed and deserved in October. Dawn and Tom Vaughn were her “forever” family! They loved her silly ways, her funny smile, and how she slept with them at night. Tom said she just started to play with her new brother Dakota, and they were so in love with her.

On December 11th Champ fell down the stairs in the morning and was rushed to the vet. She was not moving her legs and as time progressed she lost control of her eye on her left side. The vet could not give any positive prognosis. So Tom and Dawn did what was best for their girl and let her go to the rainbow bridge. So many people helped this wonderful dog get to her “forever” home. So many of you gave up your time to make sure that this dog had a chance at a happy life, with a family that loved her, even if it was for such a short time. I thank each of you who helped, loved, and cared for Champ… she will be greatly missed. Stacey
