Chance is a sweet little boy. At only 63 lbs. he is almost “pocket” size. He is inquisitive and loves to be scritched, although he’s not really comfortable yet with a lot of hugs. He loves to play with toys and pitches them in the air only to catch them again and run off. He won’t be 2 until October and he acts like a puppy. There are some issues with noises he doesn’t know. Big strange dogs barking, loud automobiles, emergency vehicles are just a few of the things that have made him tuck his tail and try to find an exit to get away. However, he knows his name and comes running when you call him. He is cat safe, small dog safe, and gets along well with dogs that he knows. He loves to go for walks, is good for car rides and has no trouble with slick or slippery floors.
There are so many things to which he has not been exposed yet but I think patience and time will be this boy’s best course of action.
Oh, and did I say he was sweet? 😉 ….and he gives kisses, too.
Chance found is forever home with Caroline Thibodeau on January 31, 2010. Chance will be a “vendor dog” travelling with Caroline and her “Gawn to the Dawgs” business to various greyhound events across the country. Way to go Chance!!
