Joey is quite the character. In a very short time, this boy had become part of the family. He gets along very well with the other greyhounds and is very well behaved. While he is definitely a food-hound as most of them are, he responds very well to “No!” in his few attempts to take what did isn’t his. He will then patiently wait for dinner and treats.
He is completely house-trained and has had not a single accident in the house. He crates very well through the night but doesn’t like to be left in the crate for long periods unless humans are in the same room and he can see them. He walks well on lead with minor pulling until corrected. We haven’t tried stairs with him yet but we’ll tackle that soon. All in all, this sweet, fawn boy will make a great companion for someone looking for a goofy, flop eared, character.
