Santa Fe Nippy
Nippy graduated from the SCAL prison program on October 28, 2010.
Nippy should really be called Nifty, because that’s what she is! A sweet, lovable girl without a mean bone in her body, Nippy settled in from prison graduate to house dog pretty quickly. She is a fun-loving girl as well, who likes to run around in the yard and toss stuffies around the living room. She loves squeaky toys! Nippy crates really well, is totally house trained, is a good eater, and knows her obedience commands – even how to do a “high five”! Since she’s playful, she can be a little inquisitive about kitties, but once you tell her “no kitty” she is very good about leaving them alone. Her prison training journal noted that Nippy was afraid of loud noises, but she now seems to have gotten over that fear. Nippy enjoys meeting new people. She is very loving and enjoys getting her belly and ears rubbed. What’s also great about Nippy is that if you want her to, she’ll be your shadow, but if you want some time to yourself she will give you your space. This darling “tuxedo” girl would make a great addition to anyone’s home!
Nippy is now known as Nikki and was adopted on 12/31/10 by the Busch family.
