Update:
Today (10/23/2007) at 12:20 p.m. my heartdog, my best friend, Santa Fe Sugar passed away. She had been going down hill over the past few weeks. She stopped eating over the weekend, however, she did eat some chicken last night. She has not been able to go for walks for about a month, she just got too tired. She has been unable to get up on the sofa or bed for the past few days. I held her while she peacefully went to sleep.

My life is better because Sugar has been in it.

I am heartbroken.
