We wanted to give an update on Vinny. He has started to put some weight on and is becoming less neurotic about food. He is learning that he will never get people food and is giving up and laying down much quicker. He is excellent in the car and was wonderful on his maidan voyage to the pet store. He also did well on his walk in the park. So far, he has shown zero prey drive and is great with our cats. Vinny has slept all night in his crate without much of a protest–only a few whines before he gives up and goes to sleep. Only one potty accident and it was my fault (I didn’t quite get the signal). We are working on some jumping and pawing when he gets excited but he is responding well to all the things we are teaching him. Overall, he is a very sweet dog who will make a great pet for someone.
